Technical Support to Missions

This Indefinite Quantity Contract provided professional short-term services in
various disciplines of agriculture and rural development to 24 countries in West
and Central Africa. A total of twenty-two work orders were successfully undertaken
during the three-year life of the contract. The services provided by SECID member
institutions included:

• Planning and preparation of Project Identification Documents,
  and Project Papers;
• Agricultural and Rural Development sector and sub-sector assessments and analyses for agricultural and rural development planning and policy formulation;
• Evaluation and recommendations for improving ongoing technical assistance
  projects; and
• Liaison with REDSO/WCA, USAID, and host country officials on technical and
  analytical requirements for the timing of short-term assignments.
