Consulting Services in Training of Road and Bridge Works,
Road Rehabilitation Project
Funding source: Asian Development Bank

In conjunction with the Indonesian Government, this project was designed to
improve civil works in 17 provinces. The main objective of the SECID consultancy
is to assist the Highway Directorates within the provinces covered by the project
with the development and implementation of a Competency Based Training program
related to the civil works aspects within the broader road-building project
.

The scope of work for SECID includes two parts: training preparation and training
delivery
. The primary courses include: Supervision of Bridge Construction, Bridge
Inspection and Rehabilitation, Soil Investigation for Road and Bridge Construction,
Supervision of Road Construction, and Procurement of Contractor and Consultant
Services for an ADB loan.

In addition, SECID consultants provided data for the Training Information System
and will carry out a training impact analysis.
