From market prices to revising development policy, most development efforts
require the use of data and information to facilitate decision-making and promote
appropriate action. Through the participation of staff from our member institutions,
SECID has helped host country governments and donor agencies to more fully
understand the impact of their program as well as plan for necessary changes to
their policies and programs. Through participation in the Evaluation Studies of
USAID Development Programs (M&E IQC), SECID assisted USAID in their
pursuit of improving development program performance.
